We gather from wherever each of us is located. We acknowledge that we sit on land that has been home to others long before us, often people whose names we don't fully know, whose stories were interrupted or erased, and whose land was taken by force.
What we're sharing has been passed to us as gifts from people and the more-than-human world. Among them are countless lineages and wisdom traditions — across every continent, every culture, every era — that created, carried, and preserved the practices we have available now to find our own. Generations of teachers, practitioners, and communities kept this knowledge alive, often through great difficulty.
